I guess it's what a real estate agent would describe as a "Fixer-Upper"...
I'd still love to have a castle tho..

Re: abandoned Russian castles, cant be real, can they?
I had a really weird dream a few months ago, where one of my uncles had somehow come into possession of a castle and was going to give it to me... I was so disappointed when I woke up!
I'd completely forgotten about it till I saw those photos.
I'd love to own a castle - out in the middle of nowhere... with lots of stone staircases and secret passageways... all done up so it was fit to live in... complete with a nice big stable block for my horses... and... shame I'm not a millionaire!!

I know. Lots of turrets and towers and balconies, dens and bedrooms and a library, fireplaces, cable and internet. A swimming pool, ponds and streams, gardens and stables, lots of forested areas (only partly haunted, of course) and elevators, telescopes, bowers, bay windows, a moat with a sea monster, guard griffins and quarters for visiting dragons and wizards and witches, and ordinary folk. No evil doing allowed. Plenty of sheep and goats for meat, milk and cheese and herders and gardeners and housekeepers, musicians and artists, cats and dogs and horses and ferrets and owls living there in a cooperative community.

Frank and family are just the folks I would want as community members. We could even have our own school.
