 :rolleyes2:

By now I'd be more surprised if anything to do with ww dvd's WASN'T screwed up in some way...

But thanks to that link I found something I had no idea was out on DVD.

"The Girl From Tomorrow"

I've only ever seen poorly done rips of TV VHS recordings done years ago.

I will get both series I reckon.

The Girl From Tomorrow - Tomorrow's End (Series 1)
The series is based around Alana (Katharine Cullen), a girl from the year 3000. At the start of the series, she is kidnapped by Silverthorn, a criminal from the year 2500, and brought back in time to the year 1990.

While in the year 1990, she befriends Jenny, who helps her in her attempts to adapt to life in a time unfamiliar to her, and later helps her to return to her own time.

and series 2 (Which was never shown here, so I have no idea how the series ended.)

I also noticed the "Ocean Girl" series on there..
It was good, but not nearly as good as girl from tomorrow..

Maybe another time for that one.. emoticon

So out of a ww mistake comes 2 good finds...

I liked it too..

From Wikipedia:
"Ocean Girl is the story of a girl named Neri who lives alone on an island.
As explained by the show, she had travelled to the planet Earth on a spaceship with her father when she was young. Her father died of an unspecified sickness soon after. Neri then held his responsibility of protecting the Earth's oceans. She lives her life on the island, becoming a very strong and graceful underwater swimmer.

A humpback whale (who she names Jali and later Charley) had saved Neri after she fell off a cliff, and they became friends soon after.

Most of the other main characters live on and work for a fictional underwater research and environmental protection facility and organization called ORCA (Oceanic Research Centre of Australia), located off the coast of Australia. This organization is one of the major focuses of the story. Nearly every episode involves the underwater research facility. The main characters on the station are:

    * Jason and Brett Bates, teenage brothers whose mother Diane is a scientist at ORCA,
    * Diane Bates, a scientist who happens to be studying the songs of Charley
    * Dr. Winston Seth, Diane's research partner"

----------------------------------------------------------------

I liked Girl From Tomorrow better than Ocean Girl as it was just good old low-budget stupid fun. :hyper:

McCleod's Daughter's is still being made????

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLeod%27s_Daughters

How unfair is it that only the first three series of it have ever been broadcast here?

(Well yes ... but many would argue that only the first three series were worth watching)

That's not the point...
